The Galapagos Center for New Americans conducts workshops and events to support immigrant and low income communities of New  York City. We have a diverse staff of dedicated volunteers who are crucial to our operation and success. The Galapagos Center does not provide direct legal services, but we can provide referrals to low cost legal service providers. Founded in March 2014, we have served the boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens and are always seeking new opportunities to educate the public.

Our goal is to collaborate with both non-profit and for-profit organizations, community groups, and government officials to empower people across all of the boroughs of New York. If you are interested in co-hosting an event, please contact us via email at.
